Standard UPVC windows were inserted in exchange for the old windows, apart from the arched window that you see and the new bay window that beautifully projects outwards. A lot of time and effort was put in to ensure that the arch window fitted in perfectly and work well with the arched brick surround. The benefit of a bay window is that it really draws the living area that bit closer to the outdoors and brings in lots of natural sunlight. This is even truer when the gold-plated handles are used to open the two side openings. If the sun ever becomes too overwhelming, the elegant blind can always be drawn.
